Hobson-Williams, P.C. has announced that Leah Hallett and Luis Trujillo have joined the firm as Associates.
Ms. Hallett concentrates her practice in immigration law, specifically in asylum cases. Prior to her admission to the New York Bar in 2017, Ms. Hallett worked in the not-for-profit sector for organizations such as the United Nations.
She is a graduate of Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and earned a double degree in a Bachelor of Law and Business Administration. She earned her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2007 from Australia National University and was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory the same year.
Mr. Trujillo obtained his Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law in 2003 where he also focused on litigation. Currently, he’s serving as an Associate Attorney he offers strategic counsel and advocacy within the firm’s Landlord Tenant Department, bringing a wealth of experience to our team.
